Morgenstern Nativity
Our modernly designed Morning Star Nativity is the perfect choice for a contemporary living environment. The nativity figures are available in sizes 10 and 12 cm, carved from fine South Tyrolean maple wood and either painted with delicate watercolours or finished with multiple layers of stain.
For those who prefer stronger, more vibrant colours, we also offer a special hand-painted oil colour finish. The intense colours give the figures a particularly expressive appearance.
From a size of 15 cm, the nativity figures are carved from ash wood, which is characterised by its distinctive and pronounced grain. When painted with watercolours, the natural grain shines beautifully through the colours.
This size is also available in our rustic finish. In this special version, the natural grain of the ash wood is deliberately accentuated through sandblasting. This process opens the pores of the wood, bringing out the characteristic grain even more and giving the figures a particularly distinctive and rustic appearance.
Salcher Nativity
When looking at the Salcher Nativity, its classic and traditional style of hand-carved nativity figures immediately becomes apparent. The artistically crafted folds of the garments are reminiscent of the Baroque style, giving the figures an elegant and distinctive appearance. They blend beautifully with both traditional Alpine nativity scenes and oriental-style nativity landscapes, making them a true eye-catcher.
A special characteristic of this nativity series is the depiction of the Holy Family: Mary finds protection and support with Joseph, gently resting her raised arm in his. This intimate gesture expresses the love, warmth and sense of security that characterise the night of Christ’s birth and can still be felt today when looking at the nativity scene.
The Salcher Nativity is available in sizes 10, 13, 17 and 26 cm. Upon request, the nativity series is also available in 52 cm.
LEPI Kastlunger Nativity
LEPI Rupert Nativity
The LEPI Rupert Nativity was designed by the master of nativity art, Rupert Reindl. It is one of his best-known nativity compositions and has delighted nativity enthusiasts and collectors for many years.
The figures are hand-painted with oil colours. The warm, harmonious tones give the nativity scene a particularly vibrant and expressive appearance. At the same time, they radiate a sense of warmth and comfort, creating a very special atmosphere during the Christmas season.
With a wide selection of shepherds, kings, animals and other figures, the LEPI Rupert Nativity can be individually expanded over time, allowing you to create a personal and unique nativity landscape.
LEPI Lepi Nativity
The Original LEPI Nativity is the main work of the entire LEPI collection. The carved wooden figures of this special nativity series are designed in a classic Oriental style, allowing them to blend harmoniously into an Oriental nativity landscape, reminiscent of the setting in which Jesus was born.
A particularly charming detail is the small wooden figure of the shepherd boy milking a goat. This lovingly crafted scene offers a glimpse into the simple way of life and humble conditions in which people lived at the time of Jesus’ birth. It brings the story of the Holy Night to life in a particularly vivid and authentic way.
The figures of the Original LEPI Nativity are available with or without a base, allowing them to be incorporated into your personal nativity landscape according to your individual preferences.
LEPI Venetian Nativity
The LEPI Venetian Nativity brings a touch of Venetian flair into your home. The beautifully carved nativity figures from this special series are crafted in an elegant Venetian style from fine South Tyrolean maple wood and painted in delicate, harmonious colours. The softly flowing garments and finely sculpted, delicate facial features give the figures a particularly graceful and elegant appearance.
We also offer a rustic version made from ash wood, finished in two tones. This special painting technique beautifully highlights the characteristic grain of the ash wood, giving the figures a natural and authentic appearance.
For Mary, two different representations are available: Mary kneeling beside the cradle, in which the Baby Jesus is lying, or Mary lovingly taking the Baby Jesus out of the cradle. This allows the Holy Family to be arranged according to individual preferences.
LEPI Popular Nativity
The LEPI Popular Nativity reflects Alpine tradition and the idyllic rural life of South Tyrol. The clothing and design of the nativity figures are reminiscent of the simple, traditional rural life that was lived in South Tyrol around 100 years ago.
The connection to South Tyrol as their homeland can be seen in the lovingly crafted details and the traditional design of the figures. This nativity scene therefore not only tells the story of the birth of Jesus, but also combines the story of the Holy Night with the culture and traditions of South Tyrol.
This authentic nativity composition pairs particularly well with traditional Alpine nativity barns, which harmoniously complete the overall scene.
LEPI Reindl Nativity
The Original LEPI Reindl Nativity is one of the best-known Christmas nativity scenes created by Rupert Reindl, a master of nativity art. The expressive figures give this series a truly distinctive character. A particular highlight is the Three Wise Men, who enter the nativity scene riding on horses, camels or elephants.
Thanks to the wide selection of shepherds, nativity animals and other figures, the nativity scene can be individually expanded and enriched year after year. The LEPI Reindl Nativity therefore offers a special collectible value, allowing you to create a personal and increasingly diverse nativity landscape over the years.
The Original LEPI Reindl Nativity is available in sizes 8 and 16 cm.
LEPI Alpine Nativity
The LEPI Alpine Nativity is a special nativity composition that places the traditions and culture of South Tyrol at its heart. The nativity figures are carved from traditional South Tyrolean woods and dressed in typical Loden wool garments, while Baby Jesus rests in a characteristic Tyrolean cradle.
The traditional costumes are not limited to the Holy Family – shepherds, the Three Wise Men and all the other figures are carefully coordinated in the same style. This creates an authentic and harmonious composition that combines the story of Christ’s birth with the rich Alpine culture of South Tyrol.
The LEPI Alpine Nativity is available in 12 cm, with a choice of figures with or without a base.
LEPI Giner Nativity
The famous LEPI Giner Nativity, created by the sculptor Johann Giner, has been reproduced with the utmost care by the LEPI workshops and reflects the traditional way of life of his hometown, Thaur in Tyrol. As Giner was a farmer himself, he had an intimate knowledge of the life and work of his time and incorporated these authentic experiences into his Christmas nativity scene and its figures.
The result is a particularly authentic nativity scene rooted in local tradition, evoking the charm of times gone by and filling the Christmas season with warmth and a sense of comfort.
The extensive selection of nativity figures is available with a base. The figures, in the 10 cm size, are available in natural wood, hand-coloured with fine oil paints, or in a stained finish.
LEPI Nazarener Nativity
The LEPI Nazarene Nativity is one of the best-known Christmas nativity scenes in the LEPI collection. The finely carved figures, made from fine maple wood, are characterised by their romantic style and expressive design.
A particularly appealing feature is the contrast between the different figures: on the one hand, the richly decorated garments of the Three Wise Men from the East, and on the other, the simple and humble clothing of the Holy Family and the shepherds. This contrast gives the series a distinctive liveliness and beautifully conveys the different worlds surrounding the birth of Jesus.
The LEPI Nazarene Nativity is particularly well suited to an Oriental nativity landscape, for example featuring the ruins of an ancient temple adorned with palm trees. This creates an atmospheric setting reminiscent of the original place of Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem.
LEPI Gloria Nativity
The LEPI Gloria Nativity stands apart from the traditional Christmas nativity scenes in the LEPI collection with its slightly more modern style. The figures feature finely sculpted lines without pronounced edges, giving them a particularly soft and harmonious appearance. The delicate painting in carefully coordinated shades further enhances their elegant character.
A particularly charming feature of this series is the Holy Family. Mary’s robe has been carefully designed and shaped so that Baby Jesus can be lovingly placed on her lap. This creates a particularly intimate and natural depiction of mother and child.
Another special feature of the Gloria Nativity is the option of purchasing Saint Joseph with a small real light inside his lantern. The warm glow of the lantern gently illuminates the Holy Family, creating a beautiful and atmospheric setting. At the same time, it beautifully enhances the feeling of love, warmth and comfort.
LEPI dressed oriental Nativity
The Original LEPI Dressed Oriental Nativity is a special feature of the LEPI collection. Unlike traditional carved wooden figures, which remain in a fixed position, these figures have only their hands, feet and faces carved from wood. The rest of the body is articulated and can therefore be positioned in a variety of different ways.
This allows the nativity scene to be changed and personalised every year, with the figures taking on new poses and creating an ever-changing scene. It is almost as if the nativity comes to life.
The figures are dressed in fine Oriental fabrics, giving them a particularly authentic and lively appearance. A wide selection of attributes and accessories also allows each figure to be individually customised. For example, they can hold a birdcage, a basket of eggs or other traditional objects in their hands.
The Original LEPI Dressed Oriental Nativity is available in 12 cm.
LEPI dressed popular Nativity
The LEPI Dressed Folk Nativity is a unique nativity series distinguished by its figures, lovingly dressed in authentic garments, which give the entire scene a special charm. The traditional clothing reflects the simple rural and farming life of times gone by and, together with a countryside setting rooted in local traditions, creates a warm and authentic atmosphere.
For these special figures, only the head, hands and feet are carved from wood and then hand-painted with fine oil colours. The rest of the body is flexible and can be positioned in different ways. This allows the nativity scene to be personalised and rearranged from year to year.
A wide selection of attributes and accessories is also available to complement the nativity scene, reflecting traditional farming and rural life. These include, for example, an axe for chopping wood, a cart loaded with straw and many other lovingly crafted objects. Together, they create a lively and richly detailed nativity landscape that authentically portrays the everyday life of the countryside.
DEMI Karl 2000 Nativity
With the DEMI Karl 2000 Nativity, the renowned woodcarving workshop Demi Art from Val Gardena has created a masterpiece that perfectly bridges the gap between centuries-old tradition and contemporary aesthetics.
The Karl 2000 Nativity stands out with its clear, minimalist and yet highly expressive design. The gently flowing lines and deliberately simple silhouettes of the figures give this Christmas nativity scene a stylish and modern elegance.
The Karl 2000 collection includes a wide ensemble of figures. In addition to the classic Holy Family, the scene can be expanded year after year with beautifully crafted shepherds, the Three Wise Men, graceful angels and lifelike animals.
DEMI Orig. Demetz barocque Nativity
As the name suggests, the carved nativity figures of the DEMI Orig. Demetz baroque Nativity are created in the distinctive Baroque style and are based on the designs of renowned master sculptor Karl Demetz.
The Baroque character is particularly striking in the richly crafted garments, featuring elegant and intricate flowing folds. The expressive faces and lively gestures give the figures a special emotional intensity and bring the story of the Holy Night vividly to life.
The nativity figures are available in sizes ranging from 12 to 60 cm and in various finishes: natural, coloured or stained in multiple layers. From a size of 24 cm, the figures are also available with a precious finish of genuine gold leaf. This special finish further enhances the splendour of the Baroque style, making the nativity scene a truly exceptional decorative centrepiece.
DEMI Peace Nativity
The DEMI Peace Nativity, created in a classic realistic style, is one of the most extensive nativity scenes in the DEMI collection. The figures are distinguished by their finely crafted garments in a traditional rural style and their wealth of detail.
The faces of the figures are particularly expressive. Their warm and peaceful features give the entire nativity scene a special atmosphere. True to its name, the Peace Nativity represents peace, harmony and a sense of comfort and security.
The birth of Jesus has always been regarded as a symbol of hope and peace – a message that with the Holy Night, peace may come to the earth. This profound meaning is beautifully conveyed through the expressive design of the figures.
